Thunderstorms are rolling in from the west, bringing wind that makes the leaves turn upside-down and a low, rumbling growl that echoes between the houses. Of course I had to open my windows and enjoy the breeze before the rains start.
Of course, this also means I need to write a blog post, since I seem to only do that when it’s raining lately.
So, we’re closing on a house in three weeks.
No. Wait.
Two weeks and a day.
(Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!)
Needless to say, I’ve been busy. I’ve been making time, though, at least for working on Lysistrata if not to keep up with you guys here. Please accept my heartfelt apologies in neglecting you. I’ll do better, I promise.
And here come the rains.
Beautiful! It’s not made it to us yet, but you can bet when it does, Courtney and I will be on the front porch doing the Finally Rain! happy dance. The neighbors will be shaking their heads and saying, “Those Torres men must be in the showers again!”
