I just booked my room for the Atlanta Writers Conference in May!  I went to this event a few years ago, and had a great time.  It’s hosted by The Atlanta Writers Club, and they have some really great workshops, chances to meet with editors and agents, and a Friday night mixer for everyone to mingle and network.

If you’re in the Atlanta area, or have the opportunity to travel, it’s a pretty great conference.  You can select only the activities you want to attend, so you can make it as cheap or as expensive as your budget allows.

I will be getting part of my Lysistrata manuscript critiqued by Jessica Williams, an editor at Harper Collins, as well as getting a Query Letter critique, and attending other workshops and panels. Best of all, I can’t wait to meet new people and get to see old friends!
